Marine cable, also known as marine power cable, is a method for various ships and offshore oil platforms and other water building electrical, lighting and general control of the use of wire and cable. Main use: used for all kinds of ships and offshore oil platforms and other water building electrical, lighting and general control purposes. Implementation of the standards are: marine power cable performance standards: IEC60092-350, IEC60092-353 or GB9331-88,JIS C3410,DIN 89160,IEEE 45,1580.

Marine Cable Types
From the types, marine cables can be divided into two categories: civilian wire and cable, wire and cable warships.
From the usage, marine cables can be divided into three categories: Boat / Ship power cable, boat / ship control cables, boat / ship with a communication cable. Its role are:
Shipboard power cables: For various ships and offshore oil platforms and other offshore building electrical, lighting and general control purposes.
Marine control cable: for various ships and offshore oil platforms and other water construction general control purposes.
Shipboard telecommunication cables: for the various communication communications, computer, information processing equipment in the signal transmission and control systems.
How to Choose marine Cable
Marine cable type selection should consider the following factors:
1, the cable uses --- for power, lighting and radio communications.
2, cable laying position --- dry, wet, cold, and whether to require shielding.
