paper insulated power cable is an old fashioned power cable,which is Oil immersed paper insulted and wrapped by lead sheet,etc.generally used for the overhead 10KV power cables, can aerial, buried and cable trench laying against external destructive forces.

The insulating layer is made of a certain width of a cable paper width spirally wrapped around the conductive core, made by dipping impregnated after vacuum drying treatment. According to the viscosity and pressure impregnation method, oil impregnated paper insulated power cable can be divided into the following six kinds.
