2.Thermocouples Extension Cable Characteristics and use

General-purpose PVC insulated and sheathed, extension wires or cables have good moisture proof wear and flame proof properties.For continuous extruding technology being employed, heat-resistant, fluoroplatics insulated and sheathed extension wires or cables have improved advantages, eg.enduring high temperature extreme cold, acid/alkaline oil or water and aging the products can meet the requirements of GB/T4989-94(equal to IEC584-3).
　　The extension wires used in the intrinsically safe, explosion-proof temperature-measuring system employ low-capacity、low-inductance materical, which is explosion-proof. They are used under the dangerous condition to form an intrinsically safe thermocouple temperature measuring system.

3.Thermocouples Extension Cable Service Condition

3.1 Max working temperature:Heat-resistant class: 200℃(F46); 260℃(PFA), 180℃ (Silicon rubber);General-purpose class: 70℃/105℃(PVC), 90℃(XLPE), 70℃(Low-smoke, halogen-free PO), 90℃/125℃(Low-smoke, halogen-free, cross-linked PO)
3.2 Min environment temperature:PVC sheath: -40℃(fixed laying), -15℃(non-fixed laying)Fluoroplastic or silicon rubber sheath: -60℃(fixed laying), -20℃(non-fixed laying)
3.3 Allowed bending radius: ≥6 times the outer diameter of the unarmored cable;≥12 times the outer diameter of the copper tape shielded or steel tape armored cable;≥10 times the outer diameter of the fluoroplastic insulated and sheathed cable.
