Electric Hydraulic Marine Stiff Boom Crane
Simplicity has been our design criteria for electric hydraulic marine stiff boom cranes. The adoption of the luffing cylinder, the lifting winch and slewing unit which were equipped with high strength planetary reduction gear make the cranes light in weight, low in centre of gravity, reliable in operation and easy in maintenance. Normally the lifting capacity of the crane is from 1.0T to 60T (max. 150T) and hoisting speed under full load is between 10m/min and 30m/min. The crane can be designed according to Users’ requirements.
Basic design features:
Welded box boom for low maintenance. The design is stiff and rigid, with reduced flexibility, giving the operator a faster and more accurate positioning of the cargo
Self contained unit with integrated hydraulic power pack
Fail-safe brakes on all movements
Fully enclosed and equipped drivers cabin with integrated heating
Dual pump system with separate hydraulic circuit for hoist and luffing/slewing to ensure efficient cargo handling
The variable speed hoist will automatically adjust to the highest possible speed for the appropriate load.
Standard equipment:
Complete crane with necessary equipment according to requirements from specified Classification Society and Flag State to ensure safe operation
Pedestal of standard height ready for mounting and welding to vessel’s main steel structure
Electric starter equipment
Flood lights mounted on jib
Oil cooler for continuous use
Limit switches for automatic stop of hook travel in top and bottom position
Entire steel structure is made of certified steel and is sandblasted to Sa 2, 5 prior to painting
Full two-component epoxy/acrylic paint system of highest marine standard. Colour according to owner’s choice
All platforms and ladders are hot dip galvanized
Full set of documentation and Operation Manual
Hand operated pump for release of brake on winch and slewing gear
Spare filters for one year normal operation.
